Looking through the archives today and found this from 2 years ago. I still think this is the coolest thing ever. What a display of raw nature. I'm both a awed and a little concerned that man can display such things. This is the Kuroshio Sea aquarium, the 2nd largest tank on our little sphere we call earth. Be sure to watch in HD (720p)....and seriously, sit back and watch the whole thing. Nature is excellent.
Watched original Superman with the little man tonight. He loved it. You don't care about outdated special effects when your 4 1/2. Sensitive little guy so I FF the Jonathan Kent heart attack and the Lois buried alive scene (and bended the truth about not all the people on Krypton dying when the planet exploded into a trillion bits) but the rest was smooth sailing. I forgot how awesome Gene Hackman was as Lex Luthor and whoever played Perry White (and of course Reeves as Kent).
Your 4-yr-old wants hot dogs? Low on $ so hotdogs sound like a good choice? Also have your in-laws coming by and want to kick things up a notch? Jalapeno-pepper-jack-cheese-hotdogs are the solution. Plain for the kid(s), JPJ for the adults. You will be SHOCKED at how good this flavor combo this is. My wife doesn't even like jalapenos but loves these hotdogs. Get cheap (or better) hotdogs, slice out a section of the dog, add pepperjack cheese and sliced jalapeño's and viola! A deluxe hotdog!
A great video that sums the dream my wife and I have for broadening our son's life perspective through world travel and observing/interacting with other cultures. Domestic now, international starting in a few years (age 7 or 8).
